Why ESGzonEX
Starting point - History
This whole project started end 2022. At sustainAX, we realised that we needed another tool to work with to streamline our own ESG research and ESG rating process. Growing database and client demand for seamless data connection over API made the choice obvious.
January 2023 we hired our first developers and started to build.
It would have been ready by now had it not been for AI (see below).
Today we are close to finalising the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and target to launch a ready for production tool to the market in January 2025 after extensive internal testing.
AI - Power in ESG research
In the fall of 2023, we were stunned to see how powerful AI was as everyone else that got access to ChatCPT (Open AI) at the time. Strategically, we realised that not adopting and integrating fully AI power was not an option.
AI - What about quality?
Having done extensive testing and with a very steep learning curve for AI technology, we quickly realised that AI is not better then your prompts. And to get expert level outcomes, you need to break down complicated issues to smaller parts and ask the right questions (prompts). As expert level quality is paramount for an ESG research and ESG rater, we have gone deep in the AI field whan it comes to using FMs (Foundation Models) the best way.
Made by ESG analysts for ESG analysts!
So, finally getting to the point; Why ESGzonEX?
This platform was initially made only for a professional ESG research and ESG rating provider, sustainAX. The development has therefore been at every step targeted for this kind of research. As the ESG research and ESG rating of sustainAX is very detailed and sophisticated, we are sure the platform will satisfy the most demanding clients.
It was actually just a coincidence during a sales pitch for another product that a prospact got interested in hearing more, and from there the ball got in motion.
The role of our beta testers
Our beta testers have given very valuable feedback and suggestions on all from UX (User experience), UI (User interface) and functionality. More about the beta tester program here.
