ESGzonEX characteristics

Research template

How the ESGzonEX standard structure is built.

ESG research process structure

The ESGzonEX process structure is built with the following hierarchy:

  • Areas
  • Categories (all of a Type)
  • Sub-Categories (optional)
  • Inputs (this is where you can be creating ESG research data)

ESG rating structure

The ESGzonEX rating structure is built with the following structure:

  • Indicators (this is where you create or store ESG research data)
  • Sectors
  • Materiality matrix (weight per Indicator for given sector)

The process structure is mandatory for using the platform (would not make sense otherwise!), the rating structure is optional but recommended as it permits to compare and sort from best to worst.

Input types

The inputs are data gathered or created during the ESG research process and can have different formats.

Text

The default input type is text.

Numerical

If numerical input type is specified, it is the only permitted.

Drop down

Drop down inputs wil offer a choice of values as per specification in the set up

Team drop down

The Team drop down will offer a choice of all onboarded team members for the given client

Functions

A number of predefined mathematical functions including logical operators and conditions is available. For specific needs, we develop new functions.

Screenshot drop zone

Images can be dropped or uploaded as an input when specified. NB! File type and size limitations apply.

Other characteristics

Other characteristics of the ESGzonEX structure, like options that can make your set up very advanced.

Optional additional ESG research processes

The platform permits up to two additional research processes using separate ESG research process structures within one research template, but without ESG rating structures.

Multi research template set up

A client can have different research templates (sets of ESG research process and ESG rating systems). These can be available at the same time or be separated by different time periods.

Register for companies, clients, suppliers or other research objects.

The register of research objects is independent of the research instances.

Periodicity

The system is rigged for different research frequencies; annual, semiannual or quartely.
